Biometric Imaging Systems
Optics, sensors, and capture software for iris on the move, including a multi-person system at 10 meters.

Recognition algorithms only see what the camera collected. A large part of the group builds the camera: illumination, focus, polarization, and the control loop that finds an eye in a crowd.
The long-range multi-spectral platform acquires iris, sclera, and periocular images of more than three people at distances up to 10 meters. End-to-end autofocus has been demonstrated for iris-on-the-move, and polarization imaging is used for face anti-spoofing in the CASIA-Polar dataset.
These systems are aimed at surveillance, robotics, and unmanned platforms, where asking a person to stand still in front of a dedicated iris camera is not realistic.
- Multi-spectral ocular capture beyond 10 meters
- Autofocus iris camera for subjects on the move
- Polarization imaging for face anti-spoofing
