- Beijing Young Elite Scientist
Yunlong Wang is an associate professor at NLPR, MAIS, CASIA. He received the B.Eng. degree in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree in 2019 from the Department of Automation, University of Science and Technology of China, working on light-field image enhancement and recognition. He joined CASIA as an assistant professor in 2019 and has been an associate professor since April 2022. His research covers pattern recognition, machine learning, light-field photography, and biometrics. With the group he built a long-range multi-spectral imaging platform that acquires iris, sclera, and periocular images of several people at distances of up to 10 meters. His academic homepage reports more than 70 papers, more than 20 granted Chinese patents, and two issued U.S. patents. He has been an IEEE Senior Member since October 2025.
